- Baldur's Gate is returning, but this time in a remastered edition with brand new added features such as the new characters: Dorn, the half-Orc Blackguard, half-elf wild mage Neera, human monk Rasaad. Also there will be a new level to play through called "The Black Pits" and the developers say that adventure alone is about 6 hours! The game is releasing for $20 on PC and Mac on September 18th (pre-ordering saves $2 off price), iPad version (with specialized UI) releasing around September for $10, and Android version coming later.
- Sony just keeps knocking out these new characters every chance they get and they just keep getting better and better. My favorite Sony character, Jak, is finally coming to the game with his companion Daxter. Not to mention they added Cole from inFAMOUS into the game, even though he is a bit recent to the Sony franchise list he still packs a shockingly good punch. - Coming out July 17th will be the new free DLC for Mass Effect 3 including 3 new maps: Firebase Rio, Firebase London, and Firebase Vancouver. New N7 Characters: N7 Demolisher Engineer, N7 Destroyer Soldier, N7 Fury Adept, N7 Sentinel Paladin, N7 Shadow Infiltrator and N7 Slayer Vanguard. New N7 weapons: N7 Piranha Shotgun, N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle and Acolyte Pistol. New Upgrades: 12 new weapon modifications and 11 new armor modifications. New Difficulty: The new Platinum difficulty. New In-Mission Objective: Occurring randomly in waves 3,6, and 10 by keeping a target agent alive and escort them to a designated extraction zone.
- Konami will be re-releasing Metal Gear Solid 4 with full trophy support on the PS3 (finally) and is currently slated for an August release in Japan. No details have emerged on American release date though. If you don't want to buy the newer version then don't worry, because there will be a patch for the regular version as well.
- BioWare announced that they will be having Ultima return as a free-to-play PC and iPad adventure with Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar. It will be coming out this year and you can currently apply for the beta at the Ultima Forever website. You will need an EA Origin account to apply for it though.
