RTX Event Information

A just announced press release concerning the Rooster Teeth Expo was released around 11am CT today with some very exciting news. So exciting it involves extraordinary individuals that wear super awesome suits to make them even more super! Yeah I’m talking about Spartans and Halo 4, because if you’re attending RTX 2012 you’ll be experiencing the World Hands-On Gameplay Premiere of the game. You’ll be one of the first in the world other than the team to play 343 Industries’s game and I have no doubt you’ll be loving every moment.

Halo 4® marks the return of the Master Chief and the beginning of a new saga in the blockbuster franchise that has shaped entertainment history, and is slated to hit stores November 6.  RTX is proud to announce that fans will have their first opportunity to play Halo 4® this year when the gameplay demo debuts to the public at the expo.  Developed by 343 Industries exclusively for Xbox 360, Halo 4® takes the award-winning series in a bold new direction, delivering its most epic and explorative campaign yet, together with a groundbreaking multiplayer offering rooted in “Halo” fiction called “Halo Infinity Multiplayer.” Attendees will get the chance to play against each other at RTX and the winners may even get a chance to play against a team of Rooster Teeth employees on the main stage in the exhibit hall.

In addition to being able to play Halo 4, there will be a whole bunch of internet celebrities and such to visit with. The Keynote Speaker will be the YouTube wonder Freddie Wong who leads the internet with outstanding videos that mix together visual effects and storytelling all with the taste of gaming. I have thoroughly enjoyed his series “Video Game High School”. There are always exhibitors at expos and RTX is no exception as they’ll have a excellent selection there. Check out the list of exhibitors below:

Here is the list of special guests appearing at RTX:

  • Rocco, Derrick, Shawn, Garrett, and Eric from Mega64

If you thought you missed your chance to go to RTX then don’t worry guys and girls! The Rooster Teeth overlords have graced you with a second chance! They’ve extended online advance tickets until Friday June 21st at just $45 + taxes/fees. If you miss your chance at the online tickets then you’ll have to pay $60 at the door.

Rooster Teeth has grown over the years and until recently they haven’t done anything like RTX and I’m excited to see what it’s all about. The company has had over 1 billion total video views, 1.7 million YouTube subscribers, 3 million monthly podcast downloads, the 8th most viewed YouTube (non-music) channel in the world as of 2011, and most importantly created the longest running web series of all time with Red vs. Blue as it enters its tenth season. Stay tuned with us for more exclusive information about RTX as the expo approaches. I’ll even be conducting an interview with Matt Hullum who is the co-founder of Rooster Teeth and does the voices of Sarge, O’Malley, Wyoming, and Doc!
