It was announced earlier in the month that Bethesda has stopped any new DLC for the fifth entry in the Elder Scrolls series. They have other projects to work on now, but that doesn’t stop them from releasing a collection bundle. Releasing June 4th in North America and June 7th for European territories across all available consoles for $59.99 is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition. This bundle pack includes the original game disc (with the most current update pre-installed), Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn.
If you haven’t heard about these DLC titles before, Hearthfire allows you to be a family man who just happens to be the Dragonborn and slays dragons and such for a living. You can buy land and furnish your own house and find a spouse and even adopt children throughout Skyrim. A nice place to settle down after a long day exploring Skyrim awaits you with this pack.
Dawnguard was the first DLC to release and features a handful of new quests and the introduction of two new factions. You have the Dawnguard who are crossbow-wielding vampire hunters who seek to stop the vampires of Clan Volkihar. They’re seeking out to essentially put out the sun. You’ll get to pick a faction to support and then fulfill their respective missions.
The last piece of DLC to release was Dragonborn which allows you to ride a dragon. I know you all have wanted to ride a dragon at some point in time, and now you’ll get your chance! You get to explore an all new land by visiting the island of Solstheim and meeting up with a Dragon Priest, Miraak. You must stop Miraak by acquiring new powers from the realm of a Deadric Prince. Also included will be new weapons, abilities, new crafting tiers, and many quests to complete.
