Scorpion DLC for Injustice: Gods Among US

Previously rumored, Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat franchise, has finally made his way into the DC comics brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us. Scorpions’ outfit has been designed by DC Entertainment’s Jim Lee with just a few changes to help him fit in. He now has a scorpion styled armor on his chest and a new chain that resembles the stinger. His fighting style remains intact and will be just as annoying, or fun to play as we all remember.

scorpThis isn’t the first time Scorpion has gone against the super heroes of the DC universe. In Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Scorpion went toe to toe with Batman and ended up losing. Perhaps now he will stand a better chance with his new gear. This undead ninja will be available as a DLC through the season pass and PSN and XBL for $4.99 (400 Microsoft Points) and will join both Lobo and Batgirl for the released DLC roster in Injustice.

Be sure to check out the video above for a preview of the redesigned Scorpion in action, an interview with Jim Lee and Ed Boon, the creative director of NetherRealm, and possibly the reveal of the next DLC character.

  1. If you have the season pass, you already have scorpion when you download the containment suit skin pack for doomsday, others will have to wait until june 11 to use him. I was iffy at first of him getting in the game but honestly he works pretty well. However, his teleport punch and his supermove are both very powerful. I’m want to see him in tournament to see his full combo potential.
